What is your lumbar?

At the most basic level, the word “lumbar” refers to the lower back area. The base of your back includes five vertebrae, which are the largest within the moveable part of your spine. These vertebrae carry your entire upper body weight and are susceptible to damage. Since your five largest vertebrae carry all of this weight, it often leaves the individual with moderate to severe back pain.
